courses

Course payment is due two weeks before the start of the course. Hereafter drop-in rate applies. Payment is sent by bank transfer to: acc no 90157648, sort: 60.17.11, please reference with your name.
As a goodwill gesture, Monday night attendees can make up any missed classes on Wednesday night at Earlsfield Library and Wednesday night attendees can make up any missed classes on a Monday night at Balham Library ONLY within the time frame of the course they are attending and ONLY subject to availability. This concession cannot be extended to any other event or beyond the time frame of the course they are attending. This is non-negotiable.
A course payment is a binding contract. In all circumstances course payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Financial concessions cannot be made for any missed classes for any reason including acts of nature as this is beyond the control of either whYoga or the venue. Course participation offers a cost effective means of attending whYoga classes if not more than two classes are missed in the course. whYoga suggests a drop-in rate if more than two classes are going to be missed in a course and cannot be made up. It is the student's responsibility to work out the best possible rate before committing to a course.
A yoga mat and blanket are required for the class. The best quality colourful yoga mats can be purchased in class for £25. Inversions will not be permitted without a blanket or other support for the neck, blocks can be purchased for the trade price of £5.50 each (one is recommended for pregnancy classes and five are recommended for all levels classes). Vicky also recommends that you bring a long sock for reaching feet in forward bends or a yoga belt which can be purchased for £6.50. If you would like further advice on this then please contact Vicky. Vicky also advises the use of a French organic lavender eye mask to enhance meditation and relaxation at the end of the class. These can be purchased for £10. Please see: http://www.whyoga.com/new-shop for all items.
By booking on to a course you agree with all the above. Vicky asks that you do not put her or her teachers in the difficult position of trying to re-negotiate these terms. These terms are made transparent on the website and in the welcome email and in the class. To be fair and to make the courses sustainable these terms and conditions are applied to everyone and no exception is made. whYoga is a small business that aims to deliver high quality teaching and considers it a serious transgression if a student tries to enter a class without paying outside of their course dates.

private yoga tuition

All privately booked classes are charged at £65 per hour per person and rise incremently by £5 for each person who attends (excluding parking fees). Cancellation of a class must be made 36 hours prior to the booking and another time scheduled for that week that fits in with whYoga otherwise 50% of the fee is incurred. In the case of any acts of nature where circumstances are beyond the control of whYoga or the private client whYoga will endeavour to reschedule a time for the week in question. If this cannot be achieved then a 50% fee will be incurred. If you wish to cancel then please ensure that you contact me via all methods of communication and presume that if you have not had a response then I do not know of the cancellation. I shall respond as soon as I am aware. This will ensure that I get the message and can make alternative arrangements in place of the cancelled booking. Please note that in order for me to deliver high quality teaching I schedule myself to teach no more than 10 classes per week to maintain quality, so it is important that I am given as much as notice as possible.
